About

Stacey St. John, Tenor of Lady A Cappella

Stacey St. John, Tenor

Stacey is a 3rd generation barbershopper who grew up listening to 4-part harmony and longing for the time when she’d be old enough to have a quartet of her own. At the age of 18, Stacey joined Sweet Adelines and never looked back. Stacey sang in award-winning quartets for years – she sang tenor in Success Express alongside Gretchen and Kerry, in CRUSH quartet with Gretchen, and was the tenor of the 2009 International Champion Quartet, Moxie Ladies, also singing with Gretchen. Stacey is a Master Director in Sweet Adelines, and when not singing she loves to travel, especially anywhere near a beach. In fact, she won a lovely trip to St. Croix (and some good $$) when she was a contestant on Wheel of Fortune in 2013! Stacey is a real estate entrepreneur who mentors women around the world, helping them crush their real estate investing goals. She has been married to her husband, Chad (a second-generation barbershopper), since 1994, and they have two sons, Hayden and Brendan.

Deidra Ronfeldt, Lead

Deidra is originally from Leslie, MI and moved to Nashville in 2003 to fulfill her passion of music. Not only does she have a Commercial Vocal Performance degree from Lansing Community College, she also is a proud graduate of Belmont University with a degree in classical performance. She became a Sweet Adeline in 2003, singing lead in TuneTown Show Chorus and Last Minute Quartet, a long-time favorite young women’s quartet that earned several regional medals and was the 2007 Rising Star International 2nd place medalists. In 2016, Deidra started making the commute to Ohio to sing with what is now known as Lady A Cappella! She is forever grateful for her Sweet Adeline journey and cherishes the day when she most recently won her first international quartet championship alongside Stacey, Kerry, and Gretchen. Outside of work and barbershop, Deidra is living her best life with lots of coffee, being a momma to the cutest toddler, Gibson, and a newlywed to her handsome, talented husband, Jacob. In addition to working at Shining Light Christian Preschool, Deidra is also an adjunct professor at Lipscomb University where she enjoys forwarding the knowledge that was passed through her from years of barbershop and formal education.

Gretchen Holloway, Bass

Gretchen is a third-generation barbershopper who spent her formative years immersed in the harmonies of her family's singing tradition, which boasts a lineage of both male and female barbershoppers, including her mother and sister. She eagerly anticipated the opportunity to join the Sweet Adeline organization as soon as she reached the appropriate age. During her teenage years, she and Kerry played instrumental roles in founding the Scioto Valley Chorus, where Gretchen currently serves as Choreographer, Bass Section Leader, and Associate Director. With extensive experience as a quartet singer, Gretchen has earned top 10 medals not only with Lady A Cappella but also with Success Express and Crush Quartets. Notably, her win with MOXIE LADIES in 2009 alongside Stacey and most recently with Lady A Cappella has positioned her among the elite of two-time International Champions. Her enduring passion for singing, the profound friendships, and the sense of camaraderie within the organization have fueled her active participation in quartet competitions for the last three decades. Beyond her musical pursuits, Gretchen finds joy in spending time with her family and thrives in her role as an Account Executive at Valpak, where she helps businesses grow through targeted advertising solutions.
